Lando Norris Dutch Grand Prix 2025 campaign continues to gain momentum. On Saturday morning at Zandvoort, the McLaren driver posted the fastest time during Free Practice 3, edging out teammate Oscar Piastri by just 0.240 seconds.

Norris Beats His Own Pole Time from 2024

Under sunny skies following overnight rain, drivers had the chance to push on a dry track. Norris took full advantage, clocking a 1:08.972, improving on his 2024 pole position time and setting the best time in all three sectors of the Dutch circuit.

This performance reinforces Norris’s dominance at Zandvoort ahead of the afternoon’s qualifying session.

McLaren on Top, Rivals Struggle to Keep Up

Behind the McLaren duo, Mercedes’ George Russell trailed by 0.880 seconds, highlighting the performance gap. Williams’ Carlos Sainz and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen followed, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso closing the top 10.

French Drivers Struggle in Zandvoort

Unfortunately, French hopes took a hit. Esteban Ocon (Haas) placed 18th, with Pierre Gasly (Alpine) just behind in 19th. Alpine’s Franco Colapinto rounded out the field, trailing by nearly two seconds.

With McLaren dominating the final practice, all eyes are now on qualifying at 3:00 PM local time.
