Manchester United confirmed that Bryan Mbeumo has signed a five-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. The club reportedly paid £71 million to secure the forward’s services, with £65 million paid over four installments and £6 million in performance-related add-ons.
After two failed bids, United’s third and final offer was accepted by Brentford. The 25-year-old forward joins after a standout season in the Premier League, where he scored 20 goals. During his six-year stint with Brentford, Mbeumo netted a total of 70 goals, establishing himself as one of the league’s most consistent attackers.

In his first official statement, Mbeumo expressed his joy at joining Manchester United:
“As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to take the opportunity to sign for the club of my dreams – the team whose shirt I wore growing up,” he said.
